Nestled among mature trees, SevenOaks offers 9 luxury suites in 7 one-floor buildings - no footsteps above, no footsteps below. Each suite has a Porch with two rocking chairs where you can enjoy a relaxing drink after a long day of hiking, boating, horse-riding, skiing or just plain, wandering around;  a cozy Living-Room with stone fireplace, 32” LCD TV and comfortable sofa and chaise; a Master Bedroom with its large king bed, and luxury linens; a  Bathroom with its romantic  2 person spa tub, large separate shower and the ultimate…….a heated floor and a heated towel bar to warm your soft fluffy towels!  Two suites offer 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

In addition to a ‘good cup of tea’, your hosts, Amanda and Leon Lavallin, provide guests with a Welcome Package, a Continental Breakfast and Complimentary Wireless Internet Access (signal strength varies).  The coffee is also pretty good!

It is an easy walk Downtown to enjoy the Lakefront, Shopping and Restaurants.

SevenOaks is a smoke free, pet free, adult (21 plus) resort.

When we opened, we expected some guests would be celebrating
birthdays and anniversaries. This has been true but guests have expanded our
vocabulary of reasons for getting away to SevenOaks.

In 1607, one of  Amanda’s ancestors, Captain Bartholomew Gosnold - (who had earlier discovered and named Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard) sailed to America with John Smith and others to establish the first permanent English Colony in America at  Jamestown.

Now, 400 years later, Amanda and Leon Lavallin have come from Hertfordshire, England to develop SevenOaks in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, with a vision of offering B & B-like hospitality in a format where all guests have their own private suite.

Captain Gosnold could not possibly have imagined the America of today, the eight hour flight from England, nor the amenities and activities to be found in and around SevenOaks in Lake Geneva.
